This is a photo I took with my digital camera (Olympus D-490). This was taken on our family Christmas vacation in December of 2001. It's at a tourist spot called Rawhide Old West Town. We went there for dinner and watched the show for a while. The time was probably about 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. This is Annie Oakly getting ready to shoot her gun and light up the star on the Christmas tree. I took this picture first and the image caught my eye as it showed up on my viewer after I took it. I thought I must have a dirty lens or something. I took a second picture without the flash, and there are no spots in that picture. I took a third picture with the flash, and there are about 1/2 as many spots in that picture. When we went inside the steakhouse, I checked my camera and the lens was fine. My sister had her digital camera with her and she said the same thing happened to her -- she took a picture outside with the flash and had lots of spots. We both took pictures inside and they came out normal with no spots (just one or two here or there). The weather was dry (it's Scottsdale, after all!), so it's not light reflecting off of humidity. The ground below us was dirt, so you might think that it's the flash reflecting off the dirt particles, but I just don't think the dirt particles would reflect enough to give this effect. There were some Christmas lights strung about, but nothing I can think of that would reflect like this.

Editor's note: it could be dust particles, they do reflect like that. It's still an interesting picture.

I am a total amatuer at photo taking but I got a new digital camera, Olympus D-360L, and I went out to a local rural cemetary in St. Louis County, Minnesota where I had heard that strange lights are seen nightly. I took these photos, the first three I stood in one spot and took them in rapid succesion.

This cemetary is particulary active, I have personally seen several orbs. The best ones are red and green and about the size of a stoplight and just as bright, they move around and flash. I have also seen a misty object crossing back and forth in the corner of the cemetary, I actually got a picture of it last night. My 16 year old son and his friends went out there a few times too late at night (that's who turned me on to it). Two of the boys had a strange trance like experience where they actually passed out and claim to have seen the cemetary in day light with alot of people walking around them. It seems like whenever we go out there we always see something, it seems extremely active. It's a small cemetary out in the woods with about 20 or 25 graves. There was also a hunter who was caught in a blizzard near the cemetary and froze to death, perhaps our wandering spirit?

This pic was taken at a Houston cemetery - notice the daylight orb?
The next one was taken by the same photographer with the same camera.
