My daughter is three months old...from the first day she was home she has always been a quiet, but very alert child that likes to stare off into space. Recently she has begun to giggle at whatever it is she is staring at...usually a blank wall. The lights in my apartment have started a system of flicking at about 11 at night and they go on for about 45 minutes then return to normal...The TV will turn itself off when no one is around and the remote is in the middle of the floor. The thing that really scared me was my keyboard moving on its own. I had it propped up...tilted a bit...sitting again the edge of the monitor so I could write down a few thoughts in my journal. The keyboard began to slide back and forth on the desk...it paused then began again. When I got up to go get my husband, I turned around and looked back in the doorway and the keyboard slammed into the monitor and stood up on its end completely straight (as I said it was sitting at an angle). As I got online to write this the smoke alarm went off for no reasons...and the batteries were not low....Most of this has all happened while I was alone and my daughter was sleeping...but it only started happening after she was born. Is there any explanation for whats going on at my house?

This story is regarding the Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas. I'm not sure if I was just seeing things because I was really tired coming back from a football game one night or if I REALLY did see something...y'all decide, haha.
So, my high school used to play Mineral Wells High in sports for several years. We always went past the Baker Hotel on our way into and out of town. The first time I saw it, I was absolutely intrigued by it. One night after coming home, I looked up the structure on the internet to find out what it was, who built it, etc. After researching, I found all the ghost stories about the hotel. Interesting stuff!
One night, after a long football game where Mineral Wells put a beating on our team (we sucked that year, haha,) we were on our way out of the town, going past the hotel, when I looked up at the hotel. On one of the middle floors, in one of the rooms on the far side...a light was shining VERY brightly in there...the rest of the building was dark. It was like fire or candle-light...but it was pretty bright...a ghost? Hmmm.
Anyway, like I said, maybe it was just my imagination, but my friend sitting next to me said she saw it to. What do y'all think?

A couple of friends and myself took a haunted tour on a lark. It sounded like something really cool to do. It was fun until Jeff Davis Hosp. It had this creepy, disquieting vibe about it. I felt watched. I wanted to leave immediately but I didn't want to seem like a punk in front of my friends. I felt extra stupid for being a scaredy cat. We had a good time but I was kinda glad when the tour was over. That night I had the worst nightmare ever. I dreamt I was back at Jeff Davis and there were 'people' there screaming "..help us, please. We can't get out." I woke up crying.

The McDonalds in Buda has a "spectral visitor" who enjoys hiding things and turning on and off the drive-through microphone. He is believed to be named "Mike"-- on one of his more active nights he was being refered to as Bob (for lack of a better name), after we had closed a worker walked past the rear drive through window (which was locked and empty) and heard a male voice whisper "Mike". His presence can be felt while standing at the rear sink and he seems to be in contemporary buisness dress--slacks and a button down shirt. His presence predates 2000 but his actual identity is unverified.

My friend is a security guard and this other guard was working the night shift at San Jacinto battle ground while the remodeling was going on. He was parked in front of the monument with the windows up and AC on because of the heat. Around 2am in the morning something hit the top of the roof on his car and he heard what sounded like horses all around his car. He looked out the window but there was nothing to be seen, but he still heard all the horses and banging around. All of a sudden he heard a deep voice right outside his car and it said "LETS MOVE FORWARD MEN" and whatever it was slowly walked away.

My now wife and I were attending Blinn Jr. College in Brenham Texas. Since our dorms did not allow the opposite sex inside rooms, we would always drive around and find "perfect parking" spots to fool around during the day or night.

One night I found a side road off the by-pass around Brenham that led into an open farmers field which he raised cattle. We drove off to the right onto the property on a semi-high knoll. We followed the worn car tracks in the pasture down the hill. This paralleled a barbed wire fence to our right.

Off to my right at the bottom of the hill there was a cattle crossing in the fence with fluffy sand loaded with cow tracks so I turned right and into the next pasture. Driving my Blazer stright over a small hill we saw a small pond and the "Perfect Parking" spot.

It was about 11:30 pm or so, and we snuggled up in the back of my SUV with the windows partially opened and kissed and hugged for a while. We both had been drinking and dancing and so we both just kinda passed out in the back and went to sleep.

All of a sudden, my girlfriend / now wife, wakes up completely in a panic and said that she hears someone's coming and to get the heck up! She began hitting me to hurry me up. I pulled my pants on, shirt and put my glasses on as she rolled her window completely down. She told me to be very quiet.

Off in the distance, I did hear what I thought was a group of men laughing and talking way way off in the distance. It was a very cool and still night and was clear as a bell in the ski.

The voices got my attention so I opened my drivers side door and stood on the edge to look over my roof in the direction of the laughing and mumbleing. Wow!!! The laughing was getting closer and closer and I could difenetly hear about 8-12 men talking out load but could never understand what they were saying. By the sound they should have been no further than 50 - 70 feet away, but saw nothing.

Lisa began to hit my leg and told me to go and right as I stepped down to go into my Blazer a blast of cold air and chills shot thru both of our bodies which scared the heck out of me. I cranked up the truck and put it in drive to go but we could'nt. The truck started spinning in place, so I put the truck in reverse and the same thing happened. By now Lisa has totally flipped, I open my door and look down at my rear tires are smoking and spinning on dry grass and dirt. Next I put my truck in Fourwheel drive and punched it!!! Finally what ever was holding on slowly let us go. As we came to the cattle crossing, I never stopped and made a hard left hand turn through the sand and back up the hill and out of the gate.

The next morning before class, I took my roommate Charlie to the exact spot where we were. And guess what...At the cattle crossing there was NO TIRE TRACKS, No Shit!!! Next I drove to the spot where I was burning rubber in the grass and guess what............NO MARKS.

And to top it all off as Charlie and drove off I saw an old Grave Site accross the pond which is an old Confederate Cemetary. SPOOKY. When I parked the truck back at school, Charlie noticed about 15-20 hand prints all along my rear bumper where the dust had settled. I showed everyone.

Conclusion: A BUNCH OF GOOD OLD BOYS FROM WAY BACK HAVING FUN WITH ME AND MY NOW WIFE.
