He and his brother were exploring and discovered a ouija board nailed to the wall in the closet. there were scribbled dates all around it. when the ripped it away, they uncovered a huge hole in the wall, and a bloodcurdling scream and rush of icy air blasted into them. one story among many.....

I lived in a house in Clear Lake from 1986-1992. Supposedly, someone committed suicide there back in the 50's. We experienced things such as a mauve colored mist floating down the hall,footsteps on the stairs, odors such as rotten eggs, perfume, and cigars. Twice my mother was pulled from the bed, objects would float on their own, etc...My dog would dance around the oak tree in the back yard where the hanging supposedly took place.

Ok, I have lived in this house for 8 yrs. and I used to always feel like there was somebody watching me and I felt like it was an evil spirit and that it was going to do something bad to me. But I was watching Debra Duncan late one night and this lady said I should pray to archangel Michael and I did. Now, the spirit is around only a little bit, but when it is here, I hear it call my name in a whisper, like when my mom got home from work late at night and she was putting away groceries and I heard someone say "ASSSSHHHHLLLEEEEYYY" and I asked my mom the next morning if she called my name and she said NO! What am I supposed to do?

I have presently lived in this house for 10 years and one Christmas I recieved an Ouija board in which soon my family & I became obsessed with. By using the Ouija board, we found out that a man named Gey Mcmillen once lived here along with his wife and daughter Demitri. Gey was left with his daughter while his wife was away & his daughter was crying too much he could not handle it......so he quieted her in a way no parent should quiet their own child. He died about 2 years later in the winter time, alone in the room which is now our den, and from then on has haunted the house my family and i live in.Even before we knew about the apparation in my house things would happen, and we would call the ghost SAM because we did not know the sex of the ghost when it was alive. Things would fall off the wall unexlained, shadows in the shape of a human would pass by on the walls of our house, voices called out to us, and we were all awakened itleast 5 times at 6:00 a.m. which is according to gey the time when he died. In the summer time it cools down, but in winter time Gey goes wild. Recently i have been having dreams in which i am being beaten by an old man with a cane and wake up with unexplainable markings, scratches, bruises and cuts all over my body. As i write this, Gey is probably reading this, planning his next doing, maybe it may be fatal. Who knows?

One day I had just moved in to my new house I was laying down on my bed when I heard a lady singing and a baby giggling Igot up and it stoped.A week later I was sure I heard a baby cry so I went to check on my brutherand it wasn't him.weird things still happen the other day tho t.v just turned off by it's self.I think it's haunted, but nobody belives me.

On July 2nd,1999 My friend and I went out to my pool to tan and splash around. This use to be an Indian territory and there are arrowheads an stuff to prove that it was. anyways...We heard this terrible scream and when we looked over the barbed wire fence and we saw a woman tied being carried off by an Indian and a man with a baby laying dead on the ground. It was very cold, but it was blistering when we first went outside...it shook me up as did the other strange ocurrances like that.

Another strange ocurrance was on June 27, my friend Cathrine and I were walking through my woods and we came across this pile of rocks with what looks like an old worn down cross. We were going to move closer to look at it and all of a sudden we could see our breath and a woman was crying sayin for us to go away, we asked what was wrong and she turned around and said he shouldn't be dead...not like this. Then he just dissapeared. We went back later that after noon and she was there. we talked to her recorded everything. Her name was Helen and her husbands cross was new & said "Killt by Indans"...when we went back the tape recorder was just static like a t.v. without the cable hooked up. It didn't even recored us or the trees...and I know I had the settings right.

I went to my friends house one day [He lives in HAWYL] to spend the night. At 1 o'clock I woke up and found a black slave sitting on the flour she then she vanished. I told my friend what had happen and he told me that HAWL in the 1800's was a slave plantation.

I never experienced this but my friends have. There is this road going to Runge on Hwy 72 from Kenedy, if go after 1 am on any night, a car winds up on your tail with their brights on going @ a high rate of speed.When you get into town and you look back its gone, the only thing is, there is no road to turn off on. A guy got killed on that road not to long ago my friends & wonder if its him. He was run off the road.

I am currently going to SWT in San Marcos. I am staying in Jackson Hall, the oldest dorm. There are rumors that the dorm is haunted. One day my roomate and I were staying up late. I went to the restroom, but my roomate didnt notice. All of a sudden the closet door started to shake. He thought it was me, but he freaked out when I came back in the room. We were the only ones there.

Debi Im a Houston police officer, but as a hobby I sing at clubs. My mother died 3yr ago,(suicide). She loved my singing. One day I was practicing and I heard clapping from upstairs, throughout the entire song this clapping was heard clearly. I thought someone had come home early, I went all over the house and nobody was there. Then it hit me...it was Mom!

I'm the only one in my house who thinks it might be haunted, but I have good reason. There are several things that take place here, like the a.c. being lowerd, or lights being turned off (when im in the shower). My sister-in-law even admitted to me that while she was taking a nap she thought she felt me come and shake her then she felt as if someone were laying on the bed with her. When she woke up she realized she was the only one in the house. I think it may be my grandfather who had stayed with us about a month or two before he passed on, because it only plays with us and I talk to it sometimes, so it starts to behave. Sometimes.

You can here people talking I would go and look and there would be no one there. My dad also said that he would hear Knocking on the walls. He would Look and there was no one home. After his funeral I had several nightmares and couldn't sleep well until one night he came to me in a dream. He held out his hand to me. Me and my sister spent the night at my fathers in west Texas. Everytime we went we would smell a woman's perfume. Our step- mom died and we were packing up some of her things when this gust of wind came in the house I ran in the living room but the windows were down. It kept swirling around us. We heard wailing and crying and could feel something touching us.We could not spend the night there.

I've never seen a ghost, but I've heard one at the Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, La. I awoke to the sounds of someone playing the piano. It sounded like a child who had only been playing a short time. Later I read that it is common for the piano there to play by itself. Two of the resident ghosts are little girls who were poisoned in the house. Could one of them still be practicing?

I recently stayed at the Badu house in Llano. My wife and I stayed in room 6. We saw many things happen, including a little girl who repeatedly entered our room during the night. She was crying each time we saw her. But she never stayed long enough for us to touch her. The scariest part was that she looked dead, she was transparent. It was very unsettling and sad.

Since they have left my chair has been pushed forward a couple of times, my name has been called, and guests have reported a loud banging in the hallway. My great grandmother died & was buried on my 4th b-day . I was kind of close to her being the youngest greatgrand child. Days after funeral I was getting ready for school by myself when all of a sudden I started laughing as if someone was tickling me.My grandma came in & asked why I was lauhging, I said your mother is tickling me. She began to cry & said she pasted away. Till this day I know she was really there, but I ask, why?

My grandma Lydia died on 9/22/99 and she came back to talk to me. But she said only "Ohhhhhhh.....End..." Did she mean end my life or that she finished her business on earth and she could rest in peace? Then she vanished in thick fog.

My grandmother died on New year's eve, and i never got 2 say goodbye, so I asked her to come back and say that she was ok. That night, my room got really cold and a wind started blowing and my window was shut and I felt a hand on my face and saw her and she said, "I'm ok, sweetie. Don't you worry. Bye." I never told anyone, because I thought I was delirious from grief, but it happened again, so I know it wasn't.

Whats up with all these "grandma" stories? Thats not scary. I had a ghost in my old house that stole my toys. I had this record player and when I was sleeping one night I woke up to the sound of it playing-under my bed! The only way to make it work was to crank it by hand. I never felt safe in my room. Thats not the only stuff but I hafta make it short so later.

When I was ten years old me and my brother went to Farmington, Missouri to visit my aunt and uncle at their farm. Apparently the house had a history of being haunted, but my aunt decided not to tell us. Our room was in the back of the house where most of the strange activity originated from. The room apparently was the former room of my uncle's little brother who grew up in the house, and who had commited suicide 4 years before. Anyway, my second night staying in the room really freaked me out because something kept shaking me in my sleep. I thought it was my little brother, but it wasn't because when I turned over I saw something blue. I grabed my little brother and got the hell out of there, because it was shaking me rather violently.

While in art class in high school, I was in class alone and heard footsteps on the wooden floor. Also in the same room, I felt hands touch my shoulder. A backpack moved on a table on it's own. On one occasion, my discman's LCD screen read "please dont." Also, an electric pencil sharpener began activating on it's own. The art room is in the oldest part of the school, over 100 years old.

When my room mate died I never got to say goodbye, to dull the pain I drank. After 3 days of no sleep and constant drinking I finally fell asleep in the living room, only thing was I kept waking up at 10 minutes past every hour and I always woke up with a feeling I was being watched from a chait across from me. Finally at 12:10am (the time my room mate passed away 3 days prior) I woke up to see a dark shadow, 1 tear ran down my face as the shadow slowly got up and walked over to me wiped away the tear and gently lent down and then kissed my cheek, he slowly rose waved and disappeared. To this day I believe it was him coming to say goodbye.

When I was a child my mother had a strange occurence in our home. Late one night while my brother and I were sleeping she was watching a t.v. show when the dryer all of a sudden turned on. She thought nothing of it and went downstairs to turn it off. 5 min. later it turned on again. She turned it off again only to have it turn back on. She got so scared that she decided to leave it on until my dad got home. She didn't want to go back down into the basement. To this day she still won't talk about it willingly.

Well, I was about 10 years old when this happened to me. It was a real stormy, summer night. It was 11:28pm. I woke up because I felt something watching me. I looked around and saw nothing. I started to lay back down, and the mattress on my bed, dipped dpwn as if someone sat down. All of the sudden, the room got really cold and you could see your breath.

IT was about two months ago me and a few friends of mine were out on a ghost haunt, but did not see nothing. So we decided to get a bite to eat so we did and as we sat down by an deserted river I heard I noise I ask my friends if they heard it, but they were not listening to me so I walk to the noise which seem to becoming from under a bridge not that far away. I threw a bottle down at the bridge to see if any body was down there, but nobobdy said any thing, so I started to walk the other way and as I did I heard the noise again so I went to go check for myself. What I saw was what seemed to be three white misty figures all around each other sing bling bling and eating chicken.

I grew up in Brazoria, Tx... when we were laying the septic, and the backhoe was digging I saw rotten boards popping up out of the ground that looked like an old coffin. Mom found an old wedding band while digging in the flower bed, and we had a ghost in our trailor house... the trailor had been moved from where we lived previous and never had a ghost prior. The neighbors said the land is haunted by two slaves that were killed for trying to ecsape... LaPorte TX. nature trail beside vista baywood apartments on old hwy. 146. Upon entry you get the felling of being watched. I have personally seen the figure of a young black male of about 8 years old. I have seen this on many occasions. Also I have seen a black mist within the far wooded area of the trail. The childs figure bares a strange green glowing mark on right side of his face. This mark looks to be a slash mark of a kind. Will give more info at later date.

When I was 6, just two weeks after my grandpa died, I woke up in the middle of the night to find my Grandpa sitting on the end of my bed. I was totally comfortable and felt safe, not scared and I went and curled up in his lap. When I woke up the next morning, I was curled up on a pillow which wasn't there the night b4!

I lived in this really old funeral home, that had been remodeled into a house. One night, I was lying in bed and my baby sister's "bumble-ball" which was lying on the floor, suddenly went off all by itself. It had no batteries in it either!

At one of my recent birthday parties I had the feeling there was a paranormal among us. I had felt a cold rush of wind that made my hair stand on end, however I saw nothing.The rest of the party went on and I thought nothing of it. A few days later however, when the pictures were developed it came up. It was brought up by the fact that in a few of the pictures I saw a white blurry object hovering around my head. I was holding a picture of my baby sister who had tragically been killed in a car accident.

There are these apartments in dallas that I use to live in. There were cold parts in the house and you could sometimes see white figures. The door would sometimes fly open. Someone would wisper my name. For months I thought it was my mom playing tricks on me. It wasnt. There was a picture that was nailed on our wall. One day it just fell off and broke to pieces. When we went to clean it up, it was back on the wall.

My school, Cy-Fair High, was built back in the 1930's & has many legends. One ghost haunts the auditorium, often playing with the lights. During a recent play, the set of a house had a curtain-covered window with a lamp behind it. The drama teacher was angry that someone was between the light and curtain, causing a human shadow to appear on the curtain. One problem: no one was standing there!

When I first graduated from Texas Tech, I moved into an old rent house with 3 guy friends (I'm a girl) to save money. The boys told me it was haunted. I never believed the, until "something" made itself known by walking across the hard wood floors, and taking what sounded like change and keys out of it's pockets. I was in the house alone and all of the dead bolts were fastened. Of course no one was there.

One time I was sleeping on the floor and under my bed I saw a little white man dressed all in white. He told me to come and talk to him but I screamed and ran away. I kept it a secret for many years but at a 4th of July party I just briefly metioned it to my mom. She in turn told my sister. After the party was over, everyone was going home and my sister was nowhere to be seen. I found he in the tool shed. She was a pale white. I asked her what was wrong, and refering to the little white man she told me that she had seen him too. I still get goosebumps to this day when I think about it.

I used to live in San Antonio, TX for 5 yrs. The apartment I lived in used to be an old attic but was made into an apartment. things would fall by themselves. The tv would turn on and off and the remote would be missing. I had heard that 6 children had been haunting that apartment for years. but they were innocent ones. I live in Alice Texas and well things are pretty weird for me. My grandmothers house is definetly haunted. One night I woke up to go to the bathroom and we have a mirror in the hallway. About 30yrs ago when my father was working on a farm his bosses wife came to visit him about 30min before his shift ended. She told him thank you for all his help on the farm and that she'd miss him...he was confused about the visit until the next day his boss told him he found his wife dead in their bed about 3hrs before my dad talked to her.

When I was little eveyone was afraid of my house. One night I stayed over my grandmothers house. The next day my sister told me she heard a noise down stairs and went to see what it was. No one was there but the door nob was moving. About a week ago I was telling my mom and she said the same thing happend to her when she was little and alot of other spookey things. Now I know.

I lived in a rent house in Jersey Village in Houston. From day one something always happened. I would hear someone run down the stairs every night and slam the front door. The door had a dead bolt on it. It would be locked back. I would hear boxes being dropped upstairs & my sons drums being played. I could also see it (it took on the form of my son) I could see it walking back from my sons room to the music rm. There was a big looked like blood stain in my sons room. Things levitated. I smelled sulphur. It moved the picture on the tv. The house across the street was burned down 10 yrs earlier by a spirit & the people never sold it. I broke my lease, to get out. It was horrible. There's more, but it's to much to tell. My house was also, built on an old plantation. I think people were buried there. Also, I think someone was killed in my sons bedroom. That's where the ghost stayed. I had more than one, about 7.

There was this old house,now torn down,in the town where I live. The legend goes that a family lived there and the dad went crazy and burned the house down, killing his wife and kids. On Halloween my friends an I went to check it out and heard eerie noises in the house and found gasoline tanks too! We got really freaked out and ran, when we looked back to the house, my friends and I will swear to this, we saw a little boy and girl waving bye to us from an upstairs window.

The night of her funeral her angry ghost appeared in the pizzaria at closing time,her ghost carried a horrible stench and her presence brought nothing but evil. The ghost demolished the restaurant and attempted to kill the manager and the workers. The manager alicia whiteside was later admitted to a dallas crazy house.

My grandfather used to be the manager at the Beckham Hotel in Mineola. Back in the late 70's I used to play in the old hotel that has been around since the turn of the century. Late one evening in the abandoned ballroom I saw a lady in a long white dress dancing. I have also seen strange mist and lights on the abandoned third floor. Many people have died there I even seen one man die in the lobby. If you want to do an investigation...This IS the place!!

At a party one night, sitting in his livingroom, I said I didnt believe it was haunted & asked it to do something, the livingroom light blinked off & on.s Sill not convinced, I said to do something again, the livingroom light blinked, then the kitchen, then the back porch. 1980-84 I stayed the night at a friends. She told me about a ghost at her house that would stand at the end of bed at night. I thought see was joking. That one night I heard many sounds from her closet. I tried to ignore it/did not go away. We went to that little room and i was in the dorway she inside left with back turned. Asking anyone out there if u heard of railroad tracks in or around San Antonio, TX. Kids in bus were killed by train. Said if u stop on tracks and sprinkle baby powder on back bumper, the car rolls up the rest of the hill and down the other side.Look at bumper and there r little handprints in the powder. Like they have pushed u out of harm's way.

You know how they say that kids can see ghost! Well when my boyfriends brother was about 6 or 7 he would always catch him talking to himself. He never thought anything about it because some kids do have imaginary friends.anyways when he did finally asked who he was talking to his brother said grandpa! This was his paternal grandpa who died 5yrs before my boyfriends brother was even born!

A few years ago my family and I were in Galveston and we visited "Big Red," a sort of "student union" for the UTMB campus and it also has cadavers on the 3rd floor. anyway, while we were waiting for the elevator to take us up to the 2nd floor so we could just look around, my mother suddenly froze and said that she didn't want to go anymore. Later I found out that she had felt a hand trying to hold her back.

One time me and my family were on vacation and when we got home the operater called and left a message with my dad to call a man named harvey rivers and said that he had been trying to get a hold of my dad for a long time so my dad got the number from the operator and went to call this man he thought it was business anyway called the number and a lady answered and my father says is harvey rivers there i got a message that he was trying to get a hold of me and the lady got mad and started sa ing is this some kind of joke my dad says no she says thats my dad and he has been dead for a year and a half. Moved to two story house in the country. Stepfather and I saw a figure run across room at same time. Mother felt bed bounce like someone jumped on it while on the phone. She was alone!!!I had the only room upstairs and late one night heard bathroom door open and bowl that I had left on the floor was kicked into the wall, breaking. I heard heavy footsteps. It came up to me, breathing heavy and then left!

When I was 8, I lived in a trailor. From my bed I could see through the living room into the kitchen. One night I saw a white glowing figure jump over the bar and walk towards my room.every time I closed my eyes and opened them again the figure would be a few feet farther back then before but still walking towards me.when it got to my door I closed my eyes for the last time.

We were on the ground floor and the guide was talkingn about a woman who had lived there when I felt someone blow on the back of my neck. It was audible. I turned and no one was there. I've always had weird things happen to me, but the scariest was one night as I was sleeping. My dog was lying on the bed next to me. I woke up feeling terrified for no reason, and all of a sudden one side of my bed lifted off the ground, throwing my dog and I against the wall. After a minute the bed lowered, but i was too scared to sleep.

It started when I was five and seems to still be with me! When playing the ouija board at one time it was saying that there was a old man and a baby named Sara that claimed to be my daughter. I never had a daughter,so I could'nt make sense. I have tons of pic's and a few evp's in one you can hear my sisters dog bark and then a lady laugh then you can hear me ask my husband if he just laughed.

My mom tells me a story about her brother and a house that they grew up in in Texarkana. One night my uncle awoke and looked outside of his bedroom door, and saw a man walk past and then down stairs, which were not there. It seems that my grandfather had remodeled the house, and my uncle's room had been a porch, with steps leading to the backyard in that spot.
There's also a story about the Hamilton house in Missouri City (near Houston), that says that a man in the early 80's or so murdered his family in his house. During the investigation, but after the clean up, a detective reportedly heard the screaming voices of the children, and the blood reappeared. Since this, the house has been abandoned and no other homes built within 100 yards of it.

I visited the Gunter Hotel for a school field trip. Everyone wanted to see room 636 were a lady had been murdured back in the 1960's. When we got off the elevator everyone felt really dizzy and when we went in the room we felt something very heavy pushing us down. I almost fainted! Once we were off that floor we were fine!

Before my wife and I met, she had a boyfriend who was killed in an auto accident. His sister, a young woman, identified him and signed the papers at the coroner. When the mother arrived at the coroner, they told her your daughter already identified him. The mother said, her daughter died when she was 3! They looked at the signature and it was her name!

I was living in San Antonio for about a year, my husband was stationed at Ft.Sam Houston . On a surprise visit to the Alamo, I witnessed what seemed to be a young boy, sitting on the steps crying, when I tried to go towards him, he completely vanished. I know I was not seeing things because I saw him again in a corn field, on the way home. I asked my husband to stop the car but by the time he did, the boy was gone... again.

I am a realtor in Houston. At a showing of a home in Bellaire, my client and I saw a strange thing. In the vacant house, we both saw a tennis ball bounce in the hallway. There was no one else in the house except us! Needless to say neither of us ever returned to that house. One other thing, upon further investigation of the home, we never found the tennis ball!

Recently, in my apartment, I was waitin for my roomie to come home. we have two locks a bolt lock and a normal lock. i heard a lock turning and assumed it was my roomie trying to scare me. I jumped up to get her first but no one was there. And both locks were locked instead of one. When she left she locked the bottom one from the outside but somehow the top one was locked also and I didn't do it!

One day my cousin saw my dead brothers and sister. The weird part was she did not even know about them and she named them perfectly. Then we pulled out pitures of a lot of kids and she pointed them out. Its true.
