Johnson's Creek
I understand that you may get a lot of e-mails such as this, but I hope you will view mine differently. If, from what I read on the site, the Johnson's Creek you speak of is the same creek that runs through *** ***** amusement park, then have I got something for you. I worked for the park for about ten months. I had heard the story of a small girl, by then name had changed to Amy, and was intrigued. I was told of many experiences, but believed none, until I had not one, but two of my own.

The first was on a stormy night. I was walking by the remaining portion of the house that still stands, and heard crying. As I investigated it, I witnessed what looked like a young girl, covered in blood, walk into the creek. She vanished and I told no one of my sighting.

The second was witnessed by four people. We were cleaning the virtual ride, and were letting it stop it's last ride. We had heard giggling, but just thought nothing of it. We looked over the ride, and noticed a girl sitting in the upper left seat. It was the same blood covered girl from the creek. She continued to enjoy the ride, and when it finished, she disappeared. My fellow employees, and I were mystified. Not to mention scared.

A Bevy of Ghosts
I've got a true story that's interesting but yet sad... I would have had a sister about 25 years old right now but she died when she was 1 year old. And an old nice man was building our cheap wood house and he died of a heart attack no one knows why but he died. And now we built our own brick house next to the old house.

Some of the strange things that would and still happen are like dogs barking at nothing, can also hear digging out side close to our old wooden house, things would move right in front of your eyes. And my younger sister saw a guy that she claims looked like me she - said he had a green shirt and some tight jeans and I told her that I don't wear tight jeans or even have a green shirt.

Something else you could hear, is a baby crawling. Might be my baby sisters spirit. You also can feel being watched sometimes while being alone or two people. My mother and aunt also had some experiences of their own. My mother would see my grandmother when she would go to the bathroom at about 1:00 to 5:00 am. My aunt bought a used trailer (the ones where the family dies and they confiscate their houses and sell them to other people), well she felt someone starting to lay down on their bed and she told me she could she the imprint and shadow of the body she said she couldn't move for a while and then that the strange thing got up and walked right through the window which was closed.

The Preacher's Tale
This is quite an original story I guess, but knowing I was not completely nuts, I had talked to several towns people and former ministers who experienced the same phenomenon. See attached story first.

Now I used to be a southern Baptist minister in K*****, Texas until 1991. When my life broke apart in divorce etc. and sought after wordly things. My recent marriage just broke up 2 months ago and I have sole custody of our 4 year old son. Back a ways, when I was in K*****, I kept hearing rumors about the house I lived in (the minister's house or parsonage). I ignored them, ahh, you people are picking on me....When my daughter turned close to 4, I was awakened in the middle of the night, by her screaming and crying - I told her to go back to bed. A few minutes later she looked in terror crying. (now I know kids go through a spell where they become scared of the dark and I figured that is what it was). I said, "What is scaring you?" (and she was bright for 4, she's now 14 and top of her class).

She said, "B.B. is scaring me." Well we heard her talk of B.B. her imaginary friend for a while. Scaring you, where is B.B. ..under the bed...now. It's ok. lets tell B.B. to go away. Goodnight. Cries again 15 minutes later. B.B. is outside. What does B.B. look like red eyes...hmmm. OK, I thought. Let's pray that B.B. go away ....at that moment in the attic there was a clunk clunk clunk like a fury that woke the wife up. What happened. I being the brave one went into the attic at 1:00 in the morning. I had just cleaned and straightened everything the day before.

There was a direct line of high chair boxes, etc. knocked over. Whew. Next day I asked a neighbor, "What were you telling me about ghosts?" He said, "I see you must've met the ghost in the house there that the last couple of preachers met."

OK. We don't know who or what it is but some creepy things have happened. I researched further like the minister before me and discovered he had notes in the attic and articles copies of newspapers from 1922. I called him. His kid too had an imaginary friend.

Now there was a hand written note that one of the black men burned on the property had a nick of B.B. The house was built out of the same wood and square nails when they tore the King house down at shanks and relocated it next to the lot where the men were burned. Now I tell you this much they told me they were burned where the Masonic lodge sat. And two of their rebuilt churches had burned down mysteriously. During my last days there I started trying to clean up the wooded lot adjacent to the house, thought I'd make a parking lot out of it.

Well, one church member said, "I wouldn't mess with that area if I were you."
"Why?"
He said, "Lots of snakes."

Later, another church member from old rebuked me for trying to clean the lot and pilfering around in it.....Found out later, that was the real site of the burning of the black men from 1922.

Here 10 years later sitting in bed alone with my boy, he says, "I'm scared." And this is a different house in S***** now. "B.B. scared me." ...here we go again.

Most the minister's at K*****, had failed marriages, break ups, you name it, long after being there. K***** is a quiet hush semi-hostile community that tries hard to hide it's secret and legends.
